Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join an industry leading chemical manufacturing business on the outskirts of Rotherham. This opportunity is ideal for a technical, detail‑driven professional who thrives on maintaining regulatory excellence and operational integrity.

The Compliance Manager, will take full ownership of compliance, governance, and environmental standards across a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You’ll ensure processes remain legally robust, environmentally responsible, and aligned with industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee regulation including COSHH, UK REACH, SDS authoring and CLP labelling

*

Manage Environment Agency permits and maintain all ISO frameworks

*

Lead audits across blending platforms, production and warehouse operations

*

Deliver training, inductions and spill response sessions

*

Conduct investigations, root‑cause analysis and present reports directly to the CEO

What You’ll Bring

*

3–5 years’ experience in compliance or regulatory affairs within a heavy industrial environment

*

Strong SDS authoring and UK REACH/ECHA submission experience

*

Hands‑on knowledge of environmental governance and ISO 14001

*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex regulations

Desirable

*

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or similar

*

NEBOSH General Certificate

Salary up to £38,000pa
