Compliance Manager Food Manufacturing Location: Glasgow Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 You’ll be joining a business on an exciting change journey and will play a significant part in the sies overall success.

This particular site makes up one of a series of stable and successful sites throughout the UK, that altogether make a food manufacturing business with a rich history! With the site going through this exciting change, this is one where you’ll genuinely have the opportunity to make things happen and be able to see tangible results with audit scores and customer satisfaction.

You’ll be accountable for the site’s Quality Systems and ensuring compliance to customer and legal requirements that relate to Food Safety, Integrity and Product Quality.

You’ll be developing and maintaining the QMS ensuring adherence to legal, customer and group compliance standards for food processing, as well as ensuring that Food Safety and Quality Standards are at the forefront of operations in line with the company strategy.

You’ll also be ensuring that the Technical Systems are established and effective will communicate gaps to the Technical Team and support Operations to reach their full capabilities.

Ultimately you’ll be serving as the data hub for the Technical team.

You’ll need to have experience of running internal auditing programs within a food manufacturing site, whilst also having experience working directly with or for the major UK food retailers.

Knowledge in working and application of the various Customer Codes of Practice will also be a big advantage.
