Compliance Manager

Job Description

Compliance Manager (Advisory) opportunity working with a top performing global specialty insurer. Based in London and reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be providing timely, top-quality compliance advice to a range of business stakeholders and to the firms’ governing bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provision of regulatory advice across a range of subject areas, based on relevant jurisdictional regulatory requirements and group policy;
Horizon Scanning;
Compliance training (mandatory and ad hoc / bespoke);
Responding to referrals, questions and information requests from business stakeholders (ensuring timely, detailed and accurate responses);
Business Timetable management (regulatory reporting);
Preparation of Regulatory returns (as assigned to Compliance);
Workflow management (Advisory) and preparation of status reports;
Assist with the preparatory work in the event of regulatory inspections and information requests;
Assist with the drafting of annual Compliance Plan and departmental procedures;
Assist the Head of Compliance with the implementation of the Compliance Plan and the management of the Compliance function.

What you require for the role:

A strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (preferably Lloyd’s, FCA, PRA);
Proven experience in the Lloyd’s / London Insurance Market;
A thorough understanding of the Compliance Advisory role (purpose and practice).
