About the Role
We are looking for a Composite Lay-up and Build Technician to join our team, working alongside Engineering to achieve customer and quality requirements. You will be supporting project delivery commitments and working within the operations team on manufacturing and UAV build tasks.

Skills and competencies
You should be an experienced composite laminator of high integrity prototypes or small batches with a wider understanding of general workshop practices who is organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work on your own or as part of a small team.
Essential:
· Working with carbon and glass fabrics, core materials and resins.
· Preparing moulds for lay-up.
· Use a range of different layup methods including wet lay, prepreg, forged carbon moulding and infusion.
· Working with Engineering to solve problems.
· General workshop experience – machining, assembly, soldering etc.
· Following both written and verbal work instructions.
Desirable:
· Radio-controlled vehicles or the aerospace industry.
· Assembly of prototype/small batch electro-mechanical devices.
