Who are Telford Compressed Air Services? They specialise in the design, supply, installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of industrial compressed air systems. As a business, they have been operating since 1994 and support customers across the UK, and has built an excellent reputation for technical expertise, customer service and reliability across a broad range of industrial sectors. They are a market specialist in industrial compressed air solutions helps businesses keep their factories running efficiently through compressor supply, servicing, maintenance, energy optimisation and emergency air hire. As a business, their core offerings: Rotary screw air compressors Air receivers and dryers Filtration systems Compressed air pipework Pneumatic components Alongside this, they also distribute: HPC Compressors, dryers, receivers and filtration BEKO condensate management and air treatment equipment Donaldson filtration and drying technology TESEO aluminium pipework systems Infinity compressed air and vacuum pipework SMC pneumatic products, valves, cylinders, actuators and fittings The Role: As a Service Engineer with TCAS, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, fault finding, breakdown attendance and preventative maintenance on a range of compressed air equipment and systems. You will work closely with customers to diagnose issues, recommend improvements and ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably. The role will involve both planned maintenance activities and responding to customer breakdowns, alongside completing detailed service reports and remedial work recommendations. To be successful in this position, we are looking for somebody who has ideally come from a background in Compressed Air/Industrial Gas. However, candidates from the following backgrounds will be considered: Drying systems Filtration Pneumatics HVAC Your Background: Engineering background with electromechanical fault-finding skills - understanding of wiring, circuits etc Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing industrial equipment - ideally with Compressed Air systems/Compressors or related equipment Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships Good report writing and administrative skills Full UK Driving Licence essential The Package Competitive Basic Salary 22-27 Days Holiday (increasing with service) plus Bank Holidays Company Vehicle Company Mobile Phone Premium Pension Scheme 24-Hour Call-Out Payment Scheme Overtime Opportunities including Double Time on Bank Holidays Company Workwear and Full PPE Provided Fully Funded Training and Career Development Supportive and Professional Team Environment If you are an engineer looking to build a long-term career with a respected and growing organisation, this opportunity offers excellent training, progression and earning potential.
