Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Teacher to join one of our partner schools The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. The role is suitable for ECT and Experienced teachers.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Teach fundamental computer skills, including software applications, programming, and internet safety.
• Mentor students in their academic pursuits, providing guidance and support in their learning journey.
• Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with technological advancements and teaching methodologies.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
• Recent experience teaching in a secondary school
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
