A respected Catholic School in Hillingdon seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our developing Technology department.   About the Role:

  
  
  
  
  • Deliver engaging and practical Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering topics such as programming, algorithms, data handling, and online safety.
  
  
  • Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate coding projects, problem-solving activities, and ethical considerations in technology.
  
  
  • Assess student progress through coding assignments, projects, and assessments, providing constructive feedback.
  
  
  • Contribute to extracurricular coding clubs or digital literacy initiatives.

  Ideal Candidate:

  
  
  
  
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science or a related field.
  
  
  • A good understanding of computer science principles and programming concepts.
  
  
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level is desirable.
  
  
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
  
  • A commitment to the school's Catholic ethos and values, and an understanding of the ethical implications of technology.
