We are excited to be working with a prestigious Independent boys’ school in Barnet to recruit a Computer Science Teacher. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to teach Computer Science up to KS5, developing students’ programming, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5, equipping students with coding and algorithmic skills


• Support students in learning programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science coursework and exams


• Work collaboratively to enhance the curriculum with emerging industry trends


• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, robotics teams, and hackathons

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related subject


• PGCE or QTS


• Experience teaching Computer Science up to KS5
