We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a well-established school in Stoke on Trent, starting in April. The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across KS3, KS4, and KS5, working in a highly supportive and well-resourced department. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Computer Science teachers and ECTs to develop their skills in a nurturing and high-achieving environment.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field


• QTS or PGCE


• Proven ability to teach Computer Science to KS3, KS4, and KS5 (desirable but not essential for ECTs)


• Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring students

Specific Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science to students across KS3, KS4, and KS5


• Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the needs of all learners


• Assess and record student progress


• Maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment


• Support the development of students' digital skills and understanding of key concepts


• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents

Salary

The salary for this Computer Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
