About the Computer Science Department:

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Computer Science to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, ensuring an engaging and challenging curriculum.


• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.


• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.


• Encouraging student participation in extracurricular Computing activities, such as coding clubs or tech competitions.


• Supporting students with their personal and academic development through effective pastoral care.


• Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve teaching materials and resources.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification.


• Experience teaching Computer Science to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.


• A passion for teaching Computing and inspiring the next generation of digital professionals.
