Job Description - Concrete Mixer Driver

Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver – Coventry (CV3)
£15/hour | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Day Shift (7:00 – 17:00)

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Concrete Mixer Driver to join our client based in Coventry (CV3). In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering ready mixed concrete to various construction sites across the Coventry area.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport ready mixed concrete to multiple sites in and around Coventry.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues.
Promptly report any accidents, breakdowns, or emergencies.
Maintain the safety and security of vehicles, goods, and equipment.
Operate the vehicle wash system as instructed.
Assist with refuelling and daily maintenance checks (oil, water).
Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Work closely with the Batch Plant Supervisor to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) – required
MPQC Card – required
Previous experience in concrete delivery is desirable.
Strong understanding of health & safety.
Reliable, professional, and punctual.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday
Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
10-hour shifts
£15 per hour
