Questex is currently seeking a Conference Producer to work on our Fierce Life Sciences & Healthcare and StreamTV event portfolios, as we continue our growth in Europe and beyond. We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to pursue a career in conference programming, specifically spanning two key sectors: Life Sciences and Tech. If you enjoy conducting research, writing engaging content and building great products, as well as have a distinct interest in being part of an expanding event portfolio, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of business experience conducting market research and developing engaging conference content for live B2B events, identifying and interacting with industry thought leaders, or a background in a marketing or client facing role. Prior knowledge of the biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus. Additionally, we are seeking a determined individual to work in a highly motivated, engaging, and team-driven environment.

The Conference Producer will play a key role in developing and executing the event's educational program by researching industry trends, recruiting high-profile speakers, curating compelling conference content, and collaborating with internal teams, advisory board members, sponsors, and industry partners to deliver a best-in-class attendee experience. 

The StreamTV portfolio also includes StreamTV Show, the industry's largest annual streaming event in North America, and is supported year-round by StreamTV Insider, the leading daily publication covering the latest trends, technologies, and business developments in streaming television. 

As our Conference Producer, you’ll support Questex’s success by:   

• Conducting in-depth market research to identify the latest trending topics and timely subjects that should feature on the conference agenda  


• Cultivating strong relationships with subject matter experts and recruiting key industry leaders to become potential speakers, advisory board members and advocates for the events  


• Working with speakers to develop content and overseeing all aspects of a program throughout its entire life cycle  


• Helping to inform marketing strategy and develop messaging and marketing materials for websites, emails and social media  


• Partnering with the sales team to identify potential event sponsors and support the onboarding of sponsor speakers by helping determine the most appropriate session placement within the event agenda. 


• Collaborating with event partners to develop and execute pre-event workshops, summits, and other content-driven programming, ensuring alignment with the event's strategic objectives and audience interests. 


• Working with clients/internal colleagues to develop and create advertorial content for webinars, podcasts, white papers and other products   


• Managing speaker communications, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure a seamless speaker experience and successful onsite execution. 


• Traveling to conferences to manage and provide onsite support in a professional, customer-service-oriented manner   

Your Experience and Education include:               

• A curious mind with an interest in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences industries  


• An interest in emerging technologies in streaming media, and the television industry. 


• Ability to identify emerging industry trends and translate them into commercially successful conference programs. 


• Good people skills that can apply an analytical approach to research and decision-making  


• Minimum of 2 years of business experience required  


• Strong project management skills and the work ethic needed to lead proactively    


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines by employing strong problem-solving and time management skills  


• Comfortable networking with senior executives and representing Questex at industry events.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from £40K to £50K GBP and will be eligible to receive a quarterly incentive. Salary offers are based on a broad scope of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market, geographic and organizational factors are also considered.
