As a Configuration Specialist, you will join us on our journey and undertake a high-impact role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of the Post Office's Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Application Portfolio, and Service Portfolio. You will play a key role in maintaining trusted configuration data that supports effective service delivery, operational stability, and informed decision-making across Technology Services.
You will be working collaboratively with technical teams, CI Owners, Service Owners, and the CMDB Administrator, coordinating configuration management activities, driving adherence to standards, and embedding best practices across the organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in Configuration Management and CMDB administration, with the ability to maintain high-quality configuration data, support operational excellence, and drive continual service improvement.
As a Configuration Specialist, you will have experience managing Configuration Items (CIs), CI relationships, and CMDB processes, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and alignment with ITIL best practices. In addition to this, the ideal candidate will:
