I'm currently working with a leading UK Law firm looking to expand their Conflicts function. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Conflicts expert (5+ years’ experience) to join a collaborative and supportive team at a firm renowned for its progressive culture and genuine work-life balance.

The Role

As a Senior Conflicts Officer, you will play a critical role in managing complex conflict checks and regulatory compliance across a broad range of practice areas. You’ll support fee earners and partners on high-value, multi-jurisdictional matters, providing timely, commercial advice that ensures best-in-class client service while protecting the firm’s reputation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing new client and matter intake for conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and risk.
• Analysing complex conflict scenarios and escalating where appropriate.
• Advising stakeholders on risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Contributing to the development of internal policies and training.
• Acting as a trusted mentor to junior team members.

About You?
?? Minimum 5 years’ experience in conflicts, within a UK or international law firm.
?? Strong working knowledge of SRA rules, professional conduct, and guidelines.
?? Exceptional analytical skills with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
?? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
?? Enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment with scope for growth and progression.
