Job Description

The Job Mission

You will support strategic construction delivery across a major civil engineering programme.

The role combines site management, construction planning, stakeholder coordination and contractor oversight.

️Support strategic site setup and construction sequencing activities

Develop recovery plans and allocate resources across construction activities

Coordinate contractors, managers and stakeholders to maintain delivery

️Ensure construction activities comply with CDM and project requirements

Monitor performance and produce concise, meaningful construction reports

⚙️Support efficient site operations across complex construction work packages

Drive results-focused delivery while maintaining quality and value

Build trusted relationships with contractors and wider project teams

Identify emerging issues and take timely corrective action

Collaborate across management teams to deliver construction excellence

 

Qualifications

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Construction

️Experience delivering large-scale, complex construction projects

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, recovery planning and resource allocation

Understanding of commercial principles affecting construction delivery

️Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction obligations

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills

Ability to produce concise, informative and meaningful reports

⚡Proven ability to deliver results under significant pressure

Experience collaborating with managers across complex site operations

NEBOSH, SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder
