We are recruiting for a leading joint venture company in the UK's construction and civil engineering sector, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Water Lead. This exciting role is based in the West Midlands, where you will oversee water management strategies for a major infrastructure project. The Construction Water Lead will be responsible for:
Leading the collection, management, and reporting of surface and groundwater data to support our project's design and construction activities.
Ensuring full compliance with environmental consents and liaising with internal teams and regulatory bodies.
Managing the development and review of groundwater risk assessments and water monitoring plans, in conjunction with sub-consultants.
Addressing day-to-day water management issues on construction sites, including data analysis and resolving any compliance concerns.
Expanding and maintaining our water monitoring network and coordinating installations and data collection with project delivery teams.
The Construction Water Lead will have:
A BSc or MSc in Hydrogeology or a closely related field, with significant experience in water resources management.
Proven experience working with regulatory authorities, particularly in securing and adhering to environmental consents.
A strong track record in managing subcontractors and leading water management teams.
Excellent data management skills, especially in handling groundwater and surface water data.
A proactive, highly motivated approach with the ability to navigate complex, large-scale projects successfully.
