Construction Manager

Construction Manager for 2 x new-build instituconcrete bridge structures for road over rail and road over canal. This is a hands-on, inward-facing role suited to someone with a trade background in formwork, falsework and reinforced concrete (FRC) — ideally a shuttering joiner or steel fixer by trade who has moved into Site Management. You'll be close enough to the work to know what's actually happening on the structures and influencing the leadership with feedback co-ordination whilst maintaing record and audit trail.

Day-to-day coordination between designers and specialist subcontractors across both bridge structures - RAMS preparation, review and sign-off - QA documentation and records - Material take-offs - Short-term (weekly/rolling) programme production and tracking - Input into sequencing and re-programming decisions as site conditions change - Oversight of live site activity
