Summary: Reporting to TEN’s Vice President of Construction, the Project Manager I supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities across assigned project sites. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career construction professional who wants to build hands-on project management experience in occupied facilities while working closely with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams. The role focuses on jobsite coordination, safety, scheduling, quality, communication, and successful project delivery.

  • Communicate regularly with construction leadership on job progress, risks, and upcoming needs.

  • Help develop and maintain project schedules, including weekly two-week look-ahead schedules for customers.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and customers to support smooth site operations in active, occupied facilities.

  • Monitor workmanship, safety practices, and jobsite organization to help deliver high-quality results.

  • Identify site conflicts or installation issues and work with the team to resolve them quickly.

  • Track material deliveries, storage, and site logistics to maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area.

  • Attend and help lead jobsite meetings, maintain project records, and support customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Engineering & Technical Support:

  • Promote a strong safety culture by supporting compliance with OSHA requirements, site safety plans, and customer-specific rules.

  • Participate in weekly jobsite safety meetings and help maintain clear, accurate project documentation.

  • Monitor construction progress against schedule and provide updates, reports, and site documentation.

  • Assist with inspections, commissioning, testing, and closeout activities for new and retrofit systems.

  • Support the maintenance of as-built information, project files, and progress reports.

  • Help collect building and field data to support project development, construction planning, and energy-related upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot jobsite issues with support from experienced project and construction leaders.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction field experience will also be considered.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong interest in construction project management, field coordination, and jobsite operations.

  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Working knowledge of scheduling, documentation, and common construction software is helpful.

  • Experience with Procore, e-Builder, or Microsoft Project is preferred but not required.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow into increased project responsibility over time.
