A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Central London is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join its established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with a strong interest in non-contentious construction work, while also gaining exposure to contentious matters as part of a well-rounded practice.

The Role:

You’ll primarily focus on non-contentious construction matters, advising a diverse client base including developers, contractors, funders and construction professionals. The team is involved in a wide range of projects across sectors such as social housing, infrastructure and energy.

Non-Contentious Work Includes:

• Drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts
• Advising on development agreements and joint ventures
• Forward funding and procurement strategies
• Project structuring and risk management

Contentious Work (as required):

• Supporting on delay and disruption claims
• Assisting with professional negligence and project disputes

You’ll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, gaining hands-on experience and support to develop your expertise in both advisory and dispute-related work.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE
• Strong background in non-contentious construction law
• Some experience or interest in contentious matters is beneficial
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills
• Experience from a recognised Central London or leading regional firm
