Construction superintendent

Are you ready to take on a role that challenges and enriches your skills? Manpower Engineering are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at an Ethelene Plant in Fife.

This pivotal role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities In the preparation and review of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing expert recommendations.

Contractor health and safety plans, including traffic control and erosion control measures.

Verify work quantities for accurate payment processing.

Help resolve non-conformance issues in construction, ensuring compliance and quality control.

Be the lead company representative at various project sites, ensuring smooth operations and excellent contractor relations.

Experience Experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions.

Travel to project sites, including potential overseas assignments.

Background in Construction Materials Testing procedures and familiarity with ASTM standards.

Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent service.

Experience in petrochemical projects is an advantage.
