Job Title: Construction Teacher

Location: East Heckington, North Lincolnshire

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £150 - £230 per day

Are you a qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS, or do you hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH Alternative Provision in East Heckington, North Lincolnshire, to recruit a dedicated Construction Teacher. The setting provides a supportive and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience, and employability skills through a personalised curriculum designed to meet their individual needs.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Construction Teacher from September 2026. The successful Construction Teacher will work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with SEMH needs, delivering engaging vocational construction lessons while promoting positive behaviour, practical skills development, and student achievement across the curriculum.

The successful Construction Teacher will have:

• QTS, QTLS or a Level 5 Teaching Qualification
• Experience teaching Construction or vocational studies
• Experience working with Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 students
• Experience supporting students with SEMH needs
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
