Construction Tutor – Intro to Construction
£35,000 | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Sheffield or UK-Wide

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established Independent Training Provider (ITP) that’s looking for a Construction Tutor to deliver engaging Introduction to Construction and Health & Safety Awareness courses.

You do not need to be a qualified teacher – we’re looking for someone with a solid background in construction, great communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire learners starting out in the industry.

Key Details:

Salary: £35,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: Ideally based in or around Sheffield, but open to candidates anywhere in the UK

What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering short courses on construction basics and health & safety to learners entering the sector
Creating an engaging, supportive learning environment
Drawing on your own experience in construction to bring sessions to life
Supporting learners to build confidence and understanding of the industry

What We’re Looking For:

Hands-on experience in construction (carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, electrical, mechanical, brickwork, roofer, fencer etc)
Confident communicator and natural people person
Passion for helping others succeed
Experience in a training or mentoring capacity is a bonus, but not essential
