Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Job Title: Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Centre based
Salary: up to £35,000 (Depending on skills and experience + inclusive of location uplift)
Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + more
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties:
* Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Multi Skilled Construction (e.g. Painting and Decorating / Dry Lining / Plumbing / Carpentry etc.), within a classroom-based environment.
* Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
* Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
* Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
* Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Criteria:
* Must hold a recognised Level 2 qualification within a Construction trade.
* Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-Skilled Construction.
* Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
* Driver and use of a vehicle.
