This job is based in Queensland, Australia.
Remuneration package up to $500k plus on-call and other allowances.

Remuneration highlights
Rem package up to $500k and includes:
$20k incentive allowance (payable after 12 months).
Professional development allowance $21k per annum.
Car allowance up to 25k per annum.

Job scope
Deliver care in a rich mix of settings: inpatient, outpatient and HITH.
Provide leadership within a MDT context, ensuring all relevant staff work collaboratively, focused on delivering the best possible care available.
Mentor, teach and train relevant staff.
Take full responsibility for supervision of admissions, transfers and patient discharges.
Provide some outreach services.
Essential criteria
FRANZCP or equivalent specialist training completed in UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ , South Africa.
Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings in adult psychiatry.
Excellent clinical leadership skills within a MDT context.
Willingness to participate in internal teaching programs.
Interest in clinical governance, quality/continual improvement initiatives.
First class verbal and written communication skills.
