Job Description - Consultant Gig #1015–UK–SME in Civilian Aerospace required to support Due Diligence of a Precisi


Client




A UK-based client is undertaking a Due Diligence exercise for investment in an aerospace-focused precision engineering business, of which they require advice and input from an external consultant who is familiar with the sector and its key players



Role


The Role is to act as a subject matter expert to the Deal team as they look to undertake Due Diligence of the opportunity.


This will involve a focus in three areas:



  • Analysis of fixed assets – ie, commentary on the suitability, longevity, quality of the machinery that the business uses

  • Contracts – ie, comparison of the commercials of contracts with others in the sector for Tier 1 aerospace subcontractors and comment on the products that the organisation manufactures in the context of end-customer use

  • Market – analysis of Airbus, their key plane program behind the organisation’s businesses, UK footprint







Logistics







Start date & Duration:  The requirement for this support is relatively short, from September to October.  


Location: Knowledge of UK aerospace is required but the consultant could be located anywhere globally, as the work can be done remotely 

 

Rate:  Hourly/daily rates for advice and support will be dependent on the candidate's experience and expertise. Clearly the role requires expertise in aerospace, with experience of the market and commercial contracting being of prime importance, whilst expertise in the product and engineering elements is secondary

Application Close date: No later than Tuesday, 26th August 2025, at 5 pm AEST










- All Accredited Professional must become a Member of ICG if not already the case







- APT’s (Resume's) must be lodged (by EOD Application Close date above) We will review all APT's and select the best 3 for the client. The client will then conduct interviews.
-  Please note that the net rate quoted is an ICG Affiliate rate available for   
ICG Members only. 

- Any previously agreed and documented rates for candidates introduced to ICG via approved 3rd parties will be honoured.
