Job Description - Consultant Gig #996–Central London–Medical Expert to support TV advertising approval and clearan




One of our existing clients provides pre-clearance and compliance services to all the major UK TV broadcasters to ensure compliance of all their TV and Video on Demand advertising.  Our client ensures all adverts that go to air are expertly reviewed to ensure compliance within the relevant rules for advertising on TV.








Role










Our client is currently seeking an experienced expert medical consultant to support the clearance of medical and health product advertising.  They would require impartial and expert advice on claims, substantiation and scripts for proposed TV ads for products and services such as medicines, medical devices, treatments and health. 


Expectations include:




  • Monitoring an email inbox for incoming advertising copy to be verified for accuracy of claims, providing written feedback within 5 working days.

  • Attending video call meetings when appropriate.

  • Providing impartial and expert advice in detailed reports to aid the clearance process 











Logistics


Start date - Timing: The role is required from early March.  It is part-time, hours depending on the number and frequency of advertising campaigns requiring pre-clearance 









Location: This is a role that is primarily remote/virtual, with the occasional in-person meeting required in Central London














Rate: Hourly rate commensurate with the experience of the candidate

- All Accredited Professional must become a Member of ICG if not already the case




- APT’s must be lodged within 48 hours. We will review all APT's and select the best 3 for the client. The client will then conduct interviews.
-  Please note that the net rate quoted is an ICG Affiliate rates available for ICG Members only. 



- Any previously agreed and documented rates for candidates introduced to ICG via approved 3rd parties will be honoured.
