Job Description - Consultant | Market Research, Brands | London (Hybrid)

About the Role:



This role sits in our Brands Team and is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced researcher to join the team that works with well-known brands from the Retail, FMCG & Construction sectors.


 


As a Consultant, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality research projects, applying your knowledge, expertise, and analytical skills to support clients in making better decisions. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously, reporting to project leads on larger projects and leading smaller projects with limited oversight.



The role is predominantly quantitative in nature (with a focus on large scale methodologies) but does have ample opportunities to get involved in qualitative methods and projects.



The team works across a number of established accounts within the Brands team (covering a variety of methodologies including (but not limited to) Brand and Advertising tracking, New Product Development and Path to Purchase work



This role offers the chance to step into an established team within the Brands function – this team is characterised by its flat management structure, high levels of personal career support and opportunities to take on real responsibility from an early stage. This dynamic team provides a fast-paced environment where the right person can learn, develop and progress quickly.


 


About You:



  • Able to demonstrate agency/client experience with quantitative research projects.

  • Have a flair for research, with an understanding of research methods and how to utilise them to design research to meet clients’ needs.

  • Thrive on variety and challenge and be able to balance competing demands on your time.

  • Experienced in developing and nurturing client relationships, with the ability to articulate insights to clients.

  • Naturally curious, you will be someone who is always wanting to learn more. 


Experience that is beneficial but not essential:



  • Tracking research

  • Qualitative methods


No two days are the same in this role! You will:



  • Manage smaller projects with a mix of tracker and ad hoc research.

  • Support other team members in the successful delivery of projects and smooth running of client accounts.

  • Liaise with clients on daily issues on projects and respond to client requests.

  • Manage internal ops team and external suppliers, monitoring quality and cost.

  • Prepare reporting outputs.

  • Summarise findings and translate them into presentation decks.

  • Attend debriefs and participates in results presentations to clients.
