Cheltenham | Full-time | Monday to Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 9:00am - 3:30pm
Salary: £28,000 per annum

Are you a talented writer with a flair for creating engaging content and marketing campaigns that make an impact? We're looking for a Content & Marketing Executive to join a growing and ambitious business in Cheltenham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong writing skills with creative marketing activity.                                           
Whether your background is in journalism, content writing, copywriting, communications, PR or marketing, you'll play a key role in shaping content across multiple channels, supporting the launch of a new software platform and helping to drive customer engagement through compelling storytelling and effective marketing campaigns. This role would particularly suit someone with a background in journalism, content writing, copywriting or communications who is looking to develop their career within a commercial marketing environment.

What You'll Be Doing
. Creating engaging content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media and marketing
. Writing clear, compelling and audience-focused copy across multiple channels
. Supporting the rollout and ongoing development of a new software platform through content creation and marketing support
. Reviewing, updating and improving existing marketing materials and website content
. Working with internal teams developing content, supporting business objectives and customer engagement
. Researching industry trends, customer challenges and market developments to create relevant content
. Assisting with campaign planning and content scheduling
. Proofreading and editing content to ensure accuracy, consistency and brand alignment
. Supporting SEO and digital marketing initiatives through optimised content creation
. Monitoring content performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

What We're Looking For
. Previous experience in content writing, copywriting, journalism, communications, PR or marketing
. Exceptional written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
. Ability to write engaging content for different audiences and platforms
. Strong proofreading and editing skills
. Experience creating content for websites, blogs, email campaigns or social media
. Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement
. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
. Experience using content management systems, CRM systems or marketing platforms

Desirable Experience
. Degree or qualification in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Media or a related discipline
. Experience within the energy, utilities, sustainability or renewable energy sectors
. B2B marketing experience
. Knowledge of SEO and content optimisation
. Experience managing website content and digital campaigns
. Familiarity with email marketing platforms and campaign reporting
. Experience supporting software, technology or digital product launches
