Content Assistant

We are working with a leading manufacturing and retail business that is looking for a Content Assistant to join its growing marketing team. This is a hands-on role focused on managing digital content, supporting e-commerce activity and ensuring customers have an engaging and seamless online experience.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining and updating website and product content, supporting digital campaigns and helping improve online performance.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing product listings, descriptions, imagery and content across the company website and third-party platforms.

Ensuring digital content is accurate, compliant and consistent with brand guidelines.

*

Supporting SEO activity, including keyword optimisation, metadata and on-page content.

*

Coordinating website blogs and content updates.

*

Supporting promotional campaigns, product launches, landing pages and website updates.

*

Using analytics to monitor content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

*

Supporting A/B testing and conversion optimisation alongside external agencies.

*

Working closely with Marketing, E-commerce, Customer Service, Training and other internal teams.

*

Assisting with brochures and other customer-facing marketing materials.

*

Using approved AI tools to improve content quality and effectiveness.

About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience in e-commerce, digital content or marketing who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

*

Confident working with CMS platforms and has a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.

*

Familiar with SEO and digital marketing principles.

*

Comfortable using Google Analytics and Microsoft Office.

*

A strong written and verbal communicator.

*

Experienced with image editing tools such as Canva or Photoshop.

*

Interested in UX and conversion optimisation.

*

Proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.

*

A collaborative team player with a practical, problem-solving approach
