Role
The Blockovate team is looking for an ambitious & hard-working Content Director with significant experience working in crypto/blockchain marketing to join our team. Reporting directly to our CEO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for executing a content marketing strategy for the clients we work with.
As a growing company, the responsibilities will be varied, and this role will be right for you if you can work at a strategic level in search marketing and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the day-to-day execution.

Key Accountabilities
- Strategising, executing & reporting on an SEO & content strategy
- Working with our content agencies to deliver optimised content
- Managing the content operation to ensure timely delivery of content against the weekly targets
- Working with our content distribution agencies to secure strong placements across numerous markets
- Overseeing the editorial process, ensuring all content is high-quality, engaging, and on-brand.
- Leading, mentoring, and managing the content team, including writers, editors, and content producers.
- Managing the content budget, ensuring cost-effective content production and distribution.
- Providing training and development opportunities for the content team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing successful content strategies that align with business objectives.
- A solid understanding of SEO and demonstrable success, ideally in a fast-paced start-up/agency environment
- 6+ years of experience in a content management role
- Provable experience managing small teams
- Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage a large workload
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics / SEMrush / Ahrefs / Google Search Console etc.
Desirable:
- Experience in blockchain or crypto marketing
- Knowledge of the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset

- £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, dependent on experience
