Content Editor

Salary: £31,824 per annum

Shift: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm & Friday 9am to 4.45pm (36 hours per week)

Location: Enderby, Leicester

Contract: 9 month FTC

The role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-orientated Content Editor to join our Projects department for NEXT Online Customer Services.

In this role you’ll be working alongside the Product Owners, other Content Editors and stakeholders to maintain the accuracy, clarity, and effectiveness of our external content used within Customer Services both via the help sites and operational emails. 
 

You’ll help provide development support for these products to product domains and internal users. You will also use your expertise and experience to help us continually improve our communications for our customers to allow them to self-serve across all Next and Total Platform partner sites.  

What you’ll take on:

• Be the primary point of contact with business users for service requests and incident management.
• Provide application and operational support for our systems and applications  to our product owners and customers.
• Monitoring of the applications in the Live environment, making sure that they are performing within operational parameters and to take corrective action if they are not.
• Build and maintain long lasting relationships with our stakeholders.
• Provide efficient and effective communication with users across all levels of the business.
• Contribute to the Knowledge Management system to ensure that a consistent level of support is provided to our user base.
• Escalation of high priority and business impacting issues to the relevant domains and individuals.
• Use our Service Management tool, ServiceNow, to pick up requests and track and resolve incidents.
• Create and/or Update Email template content for all operational, campaign and system generated emails. - involving HTML, CSS & XML & JSON
• Email Reporting - Using the Acoustic Platform to extract email reports as requested. 
• Create and/or Update content for use on Zendesk Guide help sites across Next UK, International and Total Platform clients 
• Manage and plan Sprints, Scrum and Retro ceremonies using ADO.
   

What you'll bring:

• Familiarity with content management systems and knowledge tools.
• Familiar with ADO, Postman and testing (desirable).
• Experience with HTML, CSS & XML & JSON (desirable). 
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and managing multiple content requests.
• Have a passion for customer service.
• Have a strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
