The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a talented Content Manager to join a successful Nottingham based science and tech businesses. The business is rapidly growing with a mission to tackle some of the biggest challenges in human and planetary health.

They combine specialist lab spaces, scale-up facilities, venture investment, and accelerator programmes to support companies from start-up through to global scale and have now created one of the largest life sciences communities in Europe!

The purpose of the Content Manager role will be to lead the development and delivery of compelling content that strengthens their brand, supports customer acquisition, and enhances client retention across their portfolio of life science campuses. Your work will help showcase their spaces, people, and success stories—reaching audiences at the right time, in the right place, and with the right message.

This role can be worked hybrid with occasional travel to other sites.

The Role

You will be a key member of the Marketing team, responsible for managing and optimising content across all channels—including websites, social media, newsletters, blogs, video, and paid media. Working alongside the team and supported by freelancers and specialists, you will build a consistent, high-performing content calendar and deliver work that reflects their tone, quality, and ambition.

Your success will be measured by thier core marketing goals: increasing awareness, supporting sales and retention across the group, and improving the overall health of the brand.

About You

We are seeking a natural storyteller, someone who knows how to craft content that connects with people and drives action. If you’re curious, collaborative, and confident,

juggling different formats and channels, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideally, you will have:

• Brilliant writing and editing skills and know how to shape a message and make it land with a strong eye for detail.
• Strong organisational instincts—able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and collaborators without dropping the ball.
• Good working knowledge of digital tools—WordPress, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Meta.
• A proactive mindset—you don't wait to be told; you bring ideas, solve problems, and spot opportunities.
• A collaborative spirit—you’re comfortable working across teams, taking feedback, and building great working relationships
• An interest in science, innovation, or real-world impact—you don’t need to be a life sciences expert, but you’re curious and up for learning.
