The Role: Our client is a vibrant and fast-growing company based in Guiseley, Leeds. They are seeking an experienced, and extremely motivated Content Marketing Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of our content marketing strategy, enhance audience engagement, and grow our clients digital presence.
Key Responsibilities of the Content Marketing Specialist:
Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing goals.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing, marketing team, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and campaigns.
Oversee and grow the brand’s social media presence, actively engaging with the community to foster brand awareness and loyalty.
Produce, manage, and distribute a wide range of content—including blog articles, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts—across multiple channels.
Optimise website content for search engines, managing organic performance through effective SEO techniques.
Maintain a detailed content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content.
Partner with the graphic designer to develop visually compelling and brand-consistent content.
Use analytics tools to evaluate content performance and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
Craft clear, engaging, and high-quality copy for the website, email campaigns, and advertising materials.
Monitor industry trends and incorporate content marketing and social media best practices.
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and supports company objectives.
Develop and execute strategies to boost website traffic and generate qualified sales leads.
Skills required:
Deep knowledge of content marketing channels and strategies.
Exceptional creative writing and communication skills, supported by a solid portfolio of published work.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a content marketing role, either in-house or within an agency setting.
Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within a similar industry or one facing comparable challenges.
Strong project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple content initiatives simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
Proficiency with content management systems and social media platforms.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to apply them to content creation.
Creative mindset with the capacity to develop innovative content marketing campaigns.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Outstanding organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team.
A passion for innovation, with a keen interest in exploring new technologies to enhance content creation.
A results-oriented approach, with a focus on exceeding goals and targets.
