Job summary:

August is on the lookout for a self-driven and creative individual to join our dedicated marketing team as a digital content creator. In this pivotal new role, you'll work closely with the marketing and commercial teams to develop and manage our digital communications. The role involves managing our email marketing strategy as well as creating engaging, informative and appealing content for all online platforms. Other responsibilities include updating website content and ensuring the brand’s tone of voice is accurate throughout.

This role offers the flexibility of working both from our London office and remotely, reflecting our hybrid work approach.

Roles and Responsibilities includes (but not limited to):

Managing all email

marketing/newsletter

strategy - write, design and schedule all comms
Website content updates - copy, images, landing pages, etc
Write copy for brochures, marketing collaterals and sales materials
Researching, writing and publishing new stories and articles for the online August Magazine
Liaising with different departments to source necessary information for content development (source stories and angles)
Editing and proofreading copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
Writing clear, concise, and compelling copy that adheres to brand guidelines and resonates with our audience.
Ensuring the brand’s tone of voice and messaging is consistent across all platforms
Developing content for partners (such as newsletters and articles)
Developing and executing creative concepts, headlines, and copy for marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

About you:

Well-organised individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanour.
Previous experience on mailchimp (email design and distribution)
Previous experience on content writing (newsletters, blogs, articles etc)
Experience on design platforms such as Canva
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
A strong work ethic.
Exceptional social skills
A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast growing and scaling business.
Flexibility to work from both the London office and remotely (hybrid work arrangement).
Fluency in English
