Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with an insolvency debt recovery specialist in Birmingham. They are looking for a Contentious Insolvency Manager to join their small team at an exciting time for the business.

Duties and responsibilities of a Contentious Insolvency Manager include (but are not limited to):

• Handling day-to-day case management tasks related to the acquisition of contentious insolvency claims, and their subsequent monetisation either through negotiation/settlement or via litigation.
• Overseeing a team of 2, providing expertise, monitoring workflow, and ensuring KPIs are met.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, attending meetings and communicating effectively with debtors, creditors, panel solicitors, and others.
• Review processes where necessary to ensure efficiency throughout the organisation.
• Driving the acquisition and monetisation of corporate insolvency claims.

The right person for this role:

• Experience in contentious insolvency cases gained either at a law firm or at an insolvency practitioner.
• Legal qualifications preferable.
• Knowledge of insolvency and bankruptcy laws.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a varied case portfolio.
• Experience leading a team with evidence of developing junior staff members.
