Contentious Probate Solicitor – Kidderminster

A respected regional law firm, recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers Guide, is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor with 1+ year PQE to join its growing Civil Litigation team.

This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload of contested wills, inheritance claims and estate administration disputes in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across multiple office locations and be encouraged to contribute to the firm’s business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of contentious probate and general civil litigation matters
• Draft legal documents, witness statements and court pleadings
• Provide clear, practical advice to clients throughout the litigation process
• Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and third parties
• Support senior Solicitors in case strategy and negotiations
• Participate in business development activities including article writing and events

Your Profile:

• Minimum 1-year PQE in contentious probate or demonstrable interest in the field
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• A proactive, team-focused approach
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with appropriate supervision
