Continuous Improvement Manager
£60,000 + Bonus (OTE £69,000) Sheffield
Reed Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead operational excellence initiatives across a complex manufacturing environment, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver the site's Continuous Improvement strategy. Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, and waste reduction activities. Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost. Analyse KPIs and operational data to drive performance improvements. Lead structured problem-solving activities including Root Cause Analysis, 8D, 5 Why, PDCA, and DMAIC. Coach and develop teams in Continuous Improvement methodologies. Support automation, capital investment, and business improvement projects. Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.About You
Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Lean Manufacturing role. Strong understanding of Lean tools and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Demonstrable success delivering measurable operational improvements. Experience leading improvement projects within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments. Excellent analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt highly desirable.What's on Offer?
