Job Description - Contract Manager

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Contact Manager with a geotechnical bias to join a client who are leaders in the engineering sector.

Duties/Responsibilities

Oversee and manage geotechnical projects across the South East region
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation
Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Foster strong client relationships to secure repeat business and referrals

About you

Proven experience in a geotechnical or related engineering role
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Relevant degree in geotechnical engineering or a related field
