Job Title: Contract Manager - Food Hygiene
Location: Carlisle
Shift Pattern: Thursday to Monday, Day Shift (8 hours)

We're looking for a driven and experienced Contract Manager to lead the on-site Hygiene team at a busy food manufacturing site. You'll ensure the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the hygiene team, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to standard.

Maintain and audit operational documentation, including cleaning schedules, risk assessments, and training records.

Oversee training and development of staff.

Conduct compliance audits and inspections to maintain hygiene standards.

Manage hours, authorise expenditure, and ensure smooth operation of all hygiene activities.

Support a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing business needs.

Requirements:

Experience in food manufacturing, food hygiene, or FMCG environments.

Proven ability to manage large, high-volume teams.

Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.

Health & Safety knowledge and experience.

Experience with BRC and customer audits.

Desirable: Level 3 Food Safety qualification.

Confident in using Microsoft Office packages.
