I'm supporting a well-established organisation operating within the media and entertainment sector to appoint an experienced Programme Manager for a significant business transformation initiative.
This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a delivery-focused professional who can bring structure to complex change, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure business priorities translate into practical outcomes.
Working across a varied range of business functions, you'll play a key role in maintaining delivery momentum, improving ways of working and ensuring teams are prepared for important programme milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation Delivery: Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, maintaining clear priorities, realistic milestones and visibility of progress.
Process Improvement: Review existing ways of working, identify opportunities for improvement and help develop effective processes that support changing business requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Organise and facilitate workshops, bring the right people together to resolve challenges and ensure agreed actions are progressed.
Planning & Dependencies: Maintain delivery plans, monitor interdependencies and highlight potential obstacles before they affect programme outcomes.
Governance & Reporting: Maintain effective programme controls, track risks and issues, document key decisions and prepare concise updates for senior stakeholders.
Business Readiness: Help teams prepare for change by ensuring responsibilities, procedures and supporting materials are established ahead of key milestones.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Build effective working relationships across commercial, operational and technical teams, ensuring priorities remain aligned and decisions are made at the appropriate level.
Transition & Implementation: Support the practical implementation of agreed changes and ensure new ways of working can be sustained beyond the initial delivery phase.
About You
You'll be an experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in delivering complex business change across multiple functions.
You'll bring:
Proven experience delivering transformation programmes or complex operational change.
Strong planning, coordination and programme control skills.
The ability to break down complex requirements into clear, manageable delivery activities.
Experience facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders across different business disciplines.

A practical, hands-on approach, with a strong focus on delivery rather than governance alone.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to bring clarity to complex situations.
Experience within broadcasting, television, media production, entertainment or other content-led businesses would be advantageous. Candidates from other complex, multi-stakeholder environments with strong transformation delivery experience will also be considered.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to contribute to a significant transformation programme within an established media organisation, working with a broad range of stakeholders to help deliver meaningful operational change.
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a complex environment, navigating ambiguity and ensuring that plans translate into tangible results.
