Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract React Developer to join Our Client's team for an exciting public sector replatforming project. This remote position is open to candidates residing in Northern Ireland who are available to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React development and a passion for creating dynamic, user-friendly web applications.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using React and related technologies for a high-impact public sector replatforming project. Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and workflows.
Qualifications: Proven experience (3+ years) in React development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel). Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills: Experience with TypeScript Knowledge of GraphQL. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Previous experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
