Description

• Manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time.
• Liaise with clients and various operational departments within the company.
• Work to minimise the costs of a project while maintaining quality and standards.
• Monitor and keep track of project progress and negotiate contracts and payments.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately.
• Provide advice on legal and contractual issues.
• Regularly report to upper management about project progress and issues.

Profile

A successful Surveyor should have:

• A degree in Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in managing construction projects.
• Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
• Proficiency in using computer software for project management.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
• A thorough understanding of construction processes.
