We are seeking a Contracts Delivery Manager to join our team at our Capenhurst site. You will lead a Contract Management team supporting a portfolio of projects, major programmes, or expansion activities. You will be responsible for the development of contract management strategies, resource planning, and the delivery of high-quality contract management support across the project lifecycle.

Working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers, you will ensure contractual requirements are aligned with project delivery objectives while protecting Urenco's commercial position and supporting successful project outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead Contract Management Delivery

Lead and develop a team of contract management professionals supporting project and programme delivery.
Develop contract management strategies and implementation plans aligned with business and project objectives.
Ensure effective deployment and utilisation of contract management resources across the portfolio.
Support Project & Commercial Success

Support project teams in the development and delivery of contracting strategies.
Ensure contractual requirements are effectively incorporated into project delivery plans.
Manage supplier and contractual relationships to support project performance and minimise commercial risk.
Protect Urenco's commercial position through effective contract management and governance.
Drive Performance & Reporting

Lead portfolio-level reporting and forward resource planning activities.
Monitor project and supply chain performance, identifying issues and supporting corrective actions.
Implement performance metrics and reporting processes that support informed decision-making.
Promote Best Practice

Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and knowledge sharing.
Promote consistent application of contract management standards, policies, and procedures.
Foster a proactive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.
What Do You Need to Thrive in This Role?

Qualifications

Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, such as Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Professional accreditation in Contract Management, Procurement, or Project Management (e.g. RICS, CIPS, APM, NEC or equivalent) desirable.
Experience

Experience in Commercial, Procurement, or Contract Management roles.
Experience supporting major projects and programmes across sectors such as construction, energy, or nuclear.
Demonstrable experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept development through to project handover.
Technical & Leadership Capability

Strong understanding of contract management, commercial strategy, and supplier management.
Ability to develop contract strategies and manage contractual risk.
Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Behavioural Attributes
