Role: Contract Manager

Location: Stoke

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £36,000 - £45,000

The Role:

• Assist the Procurement Manager in advancing departmental goals in line with the overarching Procurement Strategy.
• Lead procurement projects, managing both pre- and post-tender discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Oversee a designated portfolio, working closely with collaborative partners and customers to identify and pursue contract development opportunities.
• Analyse both contracted and non-contracted areas within the portfolio to uncover opportunities for new agreements and improvements, setting clear objectives, timelines, and detailed project plans focused on delivering value for money.

The Person:

• Public sector procurement knowledge
• Experience of working on high value contracts
• Knowledge of procurement process
• CIPS desirable
