Your new company
Our client is a well-established main contractor with deep expertise in the delivery of high-profile publicly funded projects for prestigious government institutions such as the Ministry of Defence and Local Government Councils. With a range of upcoming new build and refurbishment projects coming up, they are seeking to appoint an experienced contracts manager to join their business.
Your new role
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects in the range of £2million to £10million. From motivating, managing and engaging your site team to working with the commercial team, ensuring your projects meet commercial targets, you will play a fundamental role in the successful delivery of these projects. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you will be heavily involved in client and external stakeholder management. Our clients have a long track record of repeat work with existing clients and are proud of their brand and relationships within their core sectors.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is seeking to appoint a hardworking and competent construction professional. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and will have direct experience of delivering projects in similar or comparable sectors as either a project or contracts manager. You will have excellent communication skills comfortable sitting in progress meetings with your clients and also having direct conversations with your supply chain.
