The Contracts Manager role:

You will be responsible for overseeing approximately 3–5 live projects at any one time

* You will be responsible for the overall operational, commercial and client-facing management of your projects, working closely with the senior management team, clients, site teams and subcontractors.

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

* Attending regular client meetings, progress meetings and project reviews

* Reviewing programmes, project progress, costs and delivery performance

* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards

* Managing subcontractors and supply chains

* Identifying and resolving operational issues across multiple sites

* Providing leadership and support to site-based management teams

Requirements for the Contracts Manager:
Previous experience in a drainage/ Infrastructure/ Earthworks/ Commercial Projects

* An experienced Contracts Manager within the civils sector whom is comfortable managing 3–5 projects simultaneously

* Strong and confident when dealing directly with clients and stakeholders

* Experienced in attending client and project meetings

* Experienced in tenders, bids and pre-construction

* Strong in managing and developing site teams

* Commercially and operationally aware
