Contracts/Project/Operations Manager – Solar & Renewables
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager/Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery and commercial performance of a growing Solar & Renewables division.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction or renewable energy professional to join a forward-thinking business operating within the rapidly expanding renewable energy sector.
You will be responsible for managing multiple solar projects ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple solar PV and renewable energy projects from start to completion.
* Oversee project delivery, programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance.
* Manage contracts, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
* Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and valuations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
* Monitor programmes and ensure key project milestones are achieved.
* Support the growth and development of the Solar & Renewables division.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager/Project Manager with a strong background in renewable energy or solar PV.
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience managing multiple construction or renewable energy projects.
* Experience managing subcontractors and supply chains.
* Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong leadership and project management abilities.
* A good understanding of health & safety and construction regulations.
* The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
* A proactive, commercially minded approach.
* Solar PV / renewable energy experience would be highly advantageous.
