A growing specialist contractor delivering window, door and façade replacement projects across the South East is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a long-term residential framework programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business that has secured a significant pipeline of planned refurbishment and replacement works across occupied residential properties. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the operational delivery of multiple window installation projects, ensuring programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee projects from initial survey through to completion and handover. Working closely with installation teams, subcontractors, clients and residents, you will ensure works are delivered on programme, within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
You will be the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships whilst ensuring quality, compliance and customer satisfaction remain at the forefront of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of residential window and door replacement programmes across multiple sites.
* Coordinate surveys, procurement, scheduling and installation activities.
* Lead and support site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
* Act as the primary client contact for operational matters and programme updates.
* Monitor progress, quality, health & safety and contractual performance.
* Ensure accurate reporting, progress tracking, site records and project documentation.
* Identify and manage programme risks, variations and site issues.
* Carry out regular site visits and maintain a visible presence across projects.
* Work closely with senior management to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
Essential
* Previous experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within construction, glazing, fenestration, refurbishment or planned maintenance.
* Proven experience managing multiple projects, programmes or workstreams simultaneously.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities.
* Organised and commercially aware with strong programme management skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* CSCS Card or willingness to obtain.
Desirable
* Experience delivering residential window and door replacement projects.
* Experience working on local authority, housing association, NHS, education or public sector frameworks.
* Knowledge of planned maintenance and occupied property environments.
* Experience using project management and reporting software.
