An established and growing specialist construction contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager to join its senior leadership team.

Operating across a range of new build construction projects, this role will suit an ambitious individual looking to take ownership of multiple sites, lead project teams and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful business.

Applicants should have a strong background working for a main contractor and a proven track record delivering new build projects from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

* Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously

* Manage Site Managers and project delivery teams

* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget

* Build and maintain strong client relationships

* Monitor programme performance and resource requirements

* Support commercial teams with project reporting and cost control

* Drive quality standards across all projects

* Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management

* Identify and manage project risks

* Contribute to business growth and operational improvements

Requirements

* Experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within the construction sector

* Main contractor background is essential

* Proven experience delivering new build projects

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

* Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving

* Full UK driving licence

* £65,000 - £75,000 basic salary
