About the Role
Poolhall Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a well-established business seeking an experienced Control Panel Technician or Manager to join their team. This is a senior-level position with responsibility for workshop management, technical design, and business development support. The successful candidate must be well versed in all things operational within a controls panel business environment, due to the responsibility to oversee and drive business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations and supervise staff

• Produce panel designs and drawings from client specifications

• Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure orders

• Monitor stock and manage part ordering

• Train and onboard new staff

• Maintain a clean and organised workspace

• Occasionally support hands-on panel assembly

• Contribute to business growth through proactive sales involvement

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years in a controls/BMS or control panel environment

• Strong electrical knowledge

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (training provided if needed)

• Solid IT skills suitable for a technical office role

• Self-motivated, with strong initiative and team collaboration skills

• Full UK driving licence required

• Panel wiring experience preferred

Schedule
